@@heatherkoolaid MGK wrote his first album "Lace Up" when he was dead broke struggling with his heroine addiction, wrote second album "General Admission" when he lost his mom, aunt, brother and few of his friends and also lot of money in plenty of lawsuits and was struggling with cocaine addiction, wrote his third album "Bloom" where he tried to create light hearted album for wider audience and songs like Bad Things, At my best and Let you go but was still struggling with drug and family issues and then he created his previous album "Hotel Diablo" where he discusses his entire life, his battles with drugs, his family, career and suicide attempts and said he wanted to end the dark times in his life with the release of that album.
